Meeting Summary 12/1/05

In attendance: Dean Geddes, Bill Thomas, Robert Wood, Terry Dancy, Ken Lawson,
Cynthia Hayes, Aimee Ayers

Water Quality committee report by Bill Thomas.

Bill produced additional graphs made from Lake Sunapee tributary water quality data.
Working on a quantitative relationship between the build-out study and the WQ data
Discussion of how data should be carefully shared with community and how the same
data will also be used by Kak Weathers at a later date.

Education and Outreach:

SAWC newsletter is set to go in the mail tomorrow (12/1) a few weeks behind
schedule. Survey due date was 12/1 printed on newsletter - discussion of what to
do: change due date, ignore, ads in papers, Shopper, etc.
Education and Outreach committee will write press release about the survey and
note the change in date due.
The committee will write a few paragraphs about SAWC for town annual reports
which are generally due in January in order to be printed by March town meeting.

Vicky B. has offered to set up meeting with selectmen from watershed towns in January

Land Use

Committee has not met – needs new chairperson – maybe Kathryn Holmes?
Need most up-to-date information on town ordinances, road locations, slopes, etc.
Discussion of where to find model regulations

NHDES update

No signed contract yet for pilot project grant – expected to be signed and complete
by January 1

Next SAWC meeting will be January 5

Meeting adjourned at 6:55 PM

SAWC general meeting followed and was a working meeting with all attending splitting
up into groups.
