SAWC: The link between land use and water quality
SAWC Water Quality Subcommittee
DRAFT Terms of Reference

Purpose
To assist the Coalition with water quality Issues.


Role
The Water Quality Subcommittee operates only within the powers set forth by
the Coalition.  These include:
  1. Water quality advisor to the Coalition.
  2. Maintain on-going water quality campaign including an assessment of
    existing water quality.
  3. Implement water quality guidance for local governments.
  4. Complete an assessment of activities for the annual report.



Membership
The Coalition determines the membership of the Water Quality Subcommittee.


Meetings
The Water Quality Subcommittee meets as often as necessary to fulfill its role.  
The Water Quality Subcommittee will appoint a chair.



Decisions
The Water Quality Subcommittee will develop, as necessary, a unified
consensus on its recommendations for action to the Coalition.
