SAWC: The link between land use and water quality
SAWC Education Subcommittee
DRAFT Terms of Reference

Purpose
To assist the Coalition with education and outreach activities for the general
public and to communicate the objectives of the Coalition to sponsoring town
governments.


Role
The Education Subcommittee operates only within the powers set forth by the
Coalition.  These include:
  1. Educator and promoter of Coalition activities and objectives.
  2. Maintain an on-going educational and promotional campaign.
  3. Implement education and promotion activities.
  4. Complete an assessment of activities for the annual report.


Membership
The Coalition determines the membership of the Education Subcommittee.  


Meetings
The Education Subcommittee meets as often as necessary to fulfill its role. The
Education Subcommittee will appoint a chair.


Decisions
The Education Subcommittee will develop, as necessary, a unified consensus
on its recommendations for action to the Coalition.
